Porter/Mover Contract: Healthcare Location: Croydon, CR7 7YE Hours of work: 14 Working Pattern: Saturday and Sunday (12:00 – 20:00) Contract Type: Permanent Hourly Rate: £13.85 If you are organised, supportive, and able to work well as part of a team, being a Porter with ISS UK is the right opportunity for you to develop a rewarding career. We are looking for a reliable and professional Porter to provide a high-quality portering, helpdesk, and dispatch service to patients, staff, and visitors. You will assist with the safe and efficient movement of patients, equipment, documentation, food, waste, and other items, while maintaining a courteous and responsive service at all times. You will also ensure that equipment and the environment are kept clean, safe, and in good working order, in line with specifications, and respond promptly to service needs as they arise. You will be expected to contribute to improving the productivity and quality of the portering service. The Role Provide safe, courteous, and efficient portering services to patients, staff, and visitors. Transport patients, equipment, documentation, food, and waste as required. Maintain clean, safe, and well-maintained equipment and work areas. Respond promptly to service needs and requests. Support the Supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of the portering service. Continuously seek ways to improve the quality and efficiency of the service. About You Enthusiastic approach to work. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
