You will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, maintaining compliance, and delivering a consistently high-quality patient experience.

This role requires a strong leader who can engage with stakeholders at all levels, inspire their teams, and ensure the service is responsive, compassionate, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality services
  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations across Cleaning, Catering and associated services
  • Monitor and maintain service performance, identifying areas for improvement
  • Support continuous change and service development to meet evolving stakeholder needs
  • Provide clear direction and guidance to team leaders and frontline staff
  • Maintain financial accountability and support budgetary controls
  • Understand and respond to the key challenges and opportunities within the contract

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • HND/Degree in Hospitality, Business or related field preferred; Level 3 Food Hygiene required within 3 months
  • Experience in a multi-site managerial role, ideally within healthcare cleaning/catering services
  • Proven leadership of diverse teams, including management-level staff
  • Strong knowledge of National Cleaning Standards and healthcare service delivery
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills across all levels
  • Confident in budget management, performance monitoring, and data interpretation
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure, respond creatively to challenges, and work both independently and collaboratively
