Main purpose of the position:

In this position, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of customer accounts. This includes ongoing monitoring of outstanding debts, coordinating balance collection activities, and negotiating payment schedules to ensure timely settlements. As part of your daily responsibilities, you will verify incoming payments and prepare the monthly cash forecast to support accurate financial planning across the organization.

What will you do:

  • Managing and monitoring client accounts.
  • Identifying and analyzing the causes of payment delays, including liquidity issues, service‑related concerns, and administrative errors.
  • Verifying payments received from clients.
  • Handling customer complaints and ensuring adherence to agreed payment maturity deadlines.
  • Providing customer support via phone, Microsoft Teams, and online meetings to address questions and resolve issues.
  • Managing internal and external inquiries and ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses related to ongoing collection activities.

Professional skills you possess/Perfect expectations:

  • Bachelor’s degree or student of economics, finance, accounting, or related field (preferred).
  • 1+ year of experience in Accounting (Shared Service Centre environment is desirable).
  • Prior experience in Cash Collection and Customer Service.
  • Very good knowledge of both Spanish and English (min. B2 level) in speech and writing, allowing for easy communication with external and internal clients.
  • Solid knowledge within MS Office (Excel, Word, Internet tools).
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a structured and deadline-driven environment.
  • Intermediate Catalan is a plus but not mandatory.
