We are looking for a technically competent and customer-focused engineer who can manage planned and reactive tasks within agreed timeframes while representing the company professionally at all times. The successful candidate will work closely with the helpdesk, clients and contractors to ensure service delivery consistently exceeds expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver electrical and building services maintenance across client properties within the region.
  • Carry out electrical fault finding, repairs, maintenance and installation works.
  • Complete electrical PPM tasks and reactive works issued via the helpdesk within set timeframes.
  • Undertake additional building services maintenance, including fabric, HVAC, mechanical and related tasks.
  • Participate in the callout rota and provide responsive support when required.
  • Carry out contractor control duties, including monitoring workmanship and issuing Permits to Work.
  • Ensure all electrical equipment operates to specified performance criteria and agreed standards.
  • Maintain a professional approach that promotes customer satisfaction and company standards.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Previous experience delivering reactive and PPM building services maintenance.
  • Experience working within FM or building services environments, particularly within commercial properties.
  • Applicants must hold one of the following: NVQ 2356 / 2357 and NVQ 2356 AM2 OR City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation and AM1 & AM2 OR City & Guilds 236/2360 in Electrical Installations (Part 1 & 2) AND 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Recognised electrical apprenticeship.
  • City & Guilds or equivalent in Inspection & Testing (2394/2395).
  • JIB accreditation.
  • IPAF and/or PASMA certification.
