We are looking for an individual who will ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are followed at all times, maintain accurate records and documentation, and respond promptly and effectively to all electrical and mechanical reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests.
Shift Pattern: Rotating early and late shifts
- Early shift: 06:00-18:00
- Late shift: 10:00-22:00
- Rotation: 3 earlies / 3 lates / 4 off / 4 earlies / 6 off / 4 lates / 4 off
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with set schedules
- Ensure engineering standards and HASAWA requirements are adhered to at all times
- Respond promptly to electrical and mechanical reactive maintenance issues
- Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely
- Manage and complete help desk requests in a timely manner
- Conduct technical surveys and produce detailed reports
- Coordinate client requests and oversee sub-contractors
- Carry out minor installation works and repairs, including lighting and distribution systems
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Experience in building maintenance or a similar environment
- Background in business-critical environments (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with reactive and planned maintenance tasks
- Experience working with Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Familiarity with PPM systems and maintenance software
- Proven competence in fault diagnosis and rectification
- Good understanding of health and safety legislation and safe working practices
Qualifications:
- City & Guilds Electrical Installation Parts 1 & 2 (Part 3 or equivalent desirable)
- 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
- ACOP L8 (water systems) beneficial but not essential
- PASMA and/or IPAF certification
