We are seeking a skilled and fully qualified Mobile Electrician Engineer to deliver mechanical, electrical and building services maintenance across client sites. This role will focus on fault finding, repairs, installation and ongoing maintenance of building services equipment to ensure consistent and reliable performance. We are looking for someone who is committed to delivering a world-class service, taking ownership of allocated buildings and ensuring all activities exceed customer expectations. The role also includes responsibility for planned shutdown maintenance, contractor supervision and the highest standards of health and safety compliance.
Responsibilities
- Deliver electrical and mechanical PPM, proactive and reactive maintenance within required timeframes across containment buildings and the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP).
- Carry out planned shutdown maintenance on the ETP system, ensuring all tasks are completed to contract standards with full reporting.
- Provide a callout response as required by the supervisor and the ISS shift team.
- Undertake contractor control duties, including mentoring contractors, supervising standards of work and issuing Permits to Work.
- Ensure all electrical, mechanical and control equipment operates to specified performance criteria and within defined scope.
- Liaise proactively with clients, addressing concerns promptly and escalating to management where necessary.
- Maintain accurate administration, documentation and records in line with contractual and compliance requirements.
- Ensure full compliance with H&S, risk assessments, and COSHH regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a mobile, multi-site role.
- Fully electrically qualified (18th Edition, C&G/NVQ Electrical Installations).
- Experience in electrical building services maintenance, including fault finding, installation, inspection and testing.
- Proven background in reactive and PPM maintenance.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
