Key Responsibilities
- Deliver both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive tasks in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Operate and maintain building services plant, including HVAC systems, to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform effective fault-finding and minor installation/refurbishment works as required.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure quality and compliance.
- Participate in standby/callout rota and contribute to ongoing plant efficiency improvements.
- Carry out statutory inspections, ensuring safety practices align with ISS and health & safety policies.
- Use CAFM systems effectively for logging, updating, and communicating maintenance tasks and projects.
Professional and personal competencies/qualifications
- Apprentice trained in mechanical or multi-skilled engineering.
- City & Guilds in Heating & Ventilation (6188), Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (6187), or Building Services Engineering (6288).
- Educated to GCSE and A-Level standard (desirable).
- Experience in a similar role.
- Skilled in maintenance and repair of HVAC systems.
- Familiar with BMS system operation and controls.
- Pressure systems AP training/experience (advantageous – training can be provided).
