We are seeking a Security Supervisor who is passionate about safety and delivering a great customer experience. As a Security Supervisor with ISS, you will be at the forefront of creating a safe and secure environment, protecting colleagues, customers, property, people and assets through exemplary security operations. We are looking for someone who can lead day-to-day security operations to ensure service delivery meets and exceeds both client and ISS expectations.
The Role
- Plan and direct daily security operations, ensuring compliance with BS 7499 and local operating procedures
- Always ensure the safety of the site and everyone on it
- Monitor performance, identify underperformance, and take corrective action, reporting appropriately to management
- Stay vigilant and identify suspicious activity, preventing unauthorised access
- Maintain full awareness of daily site activity and events
- Resolve operational problems within your assigned area
- Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers
- Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and report any breaches promptly
About You
- Previous security experience
- A valid front-line SIA licence (Security Guarding, Door Supervision, or Close Protection)
- Knowledge and experience of security systems and related technology
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Ability to challenge, coach, motivate and train staff to achieve positive results
- Excellent attention to detail with a consistent and professional approach
- Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
