The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all electrical and associated building services operate efficiently and to agreed standards, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and compliance with contractual and health & safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical PPM, as well as proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set timeframes.
- Undertake fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and installation work at the client site.
- Deliver high-quality building services maintenance to exceed customer expectations.
- Support additional building services tasks, including basic fabric, HVAC, and mechanical maintenance.
- Provide callout response for the client as part of the callout rota.
- Monitor contractors and their workmanship, ensuring standards are met and issuing Permits to Work.
- Ensure all electrical equipment operates to specified performance criteria and that the surrounding area meets agreed standards.
- Complete all administrative tasks accurately and on time, maintaining required documentation and records.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Proven experience in electrical building services maintenance, including fault finding, installation, inspection, and testing.
- Experience delivering both reactive and PPM maintenance within building services or FM environments.
- Experience working within commercial properties.
- Strong understanding of health & safety procedures, including risk assessments and method statements.
Qualifications
- City & Guilds 2230 Level 3 or NVQ 2356 / 2357 OR City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation OR AM1 and AM2.
- City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2018), preferably with A2 amendment.
