The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
You will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, electrical testing, and ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and within agreed service level agreements (SLAs). You will carry out electrical PPM and reactive maintenance tasks as issued via the helpdesk, ensuring works are completed within set timeframes and customer expectations are exceeded. Undertake electrical fault finding, repair, installation, inspection, and testing across commercial properties. Provide support with multi-skilled building services maintenance, including basic fabric, HVAC, mechanical, and associated tasks. Participate in the call-out rota, providing out-of-hours emergency response as required. Support the Spinningfields site as a cover engineer when required. Act as the Authorised Person for contractor control, including monitoring contractor activities and workmanship, ensuring compliance with relevant health & safety standards, issuing and managing Permits to Work. Complete all documentation and reports accurately, including compliance and testing records.
Responsibilities

Qualifications and Requirements
- Significant experience in electrical building services maintenance, including fault finding, installation, and inspection/testing.
- Proven background delivering reactive and planned (PPM) maintenance within commercial environments.
- Experience in Facilities Management (FM) or building services sectors.
- City & Guilds 2230 Level 3, 2330 Level 3, or NVQ 2356 / 2357 in Electrical Installation.
- AM1 and AM2. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations - BS 7671:2018 (A2 amendment desirable).
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential for mobile role).
- Desirable qualifications: City & Guilds Inspection & Testing (2394/2395 or equivalent), JIB accreditation, IPAF and/or PASMA certification, completion of a recognised electrical apprenticeship.
