The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
This role involves working across a varied portfolio of commercial sites, carrying out servicing, fault finding, repairs and small installation works while ensuring all activity is completed to statutory and safety standards. The position also includes participation in the on-call rota to support out-of-hours response.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver PPM, reactive and proactive maintenance across commercial gas, combustion and HVAC systems.
- Carry out wider building services tasks including mechanical, HVAC, plumbing and fabric-related maintenance.
- Diagnose faults, undertake repairs and complete new installations when required.
- Participate in the callout rota and respond to emergency issues in line with client SLA requirements.
- Ensure full compliance with legislation, Gas Safe standards and internal safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate work records via PDA and support clear communication with stakeholders.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial combustion/gas maintenance within FM or building services.
- Strong capability in fault finding, routine servicing, repair and installation work.
- Experienced in PPM and reactive maintenance within commercial premises.
- Commercial Gas qualifications: COCN1 or CODNC1, TPCP1A, ICPN1, CORT1, CIGA1.
- Domestic Gas qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT1, CPA1.
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2/3 in HVAC, Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering.
- Gas Safe registered.
- IPAF / PASMA desirable.
- Full UK Driving Licence essential.
