In this role, you will act as the first point of contact for users, ensuring they feel welcomed, informed, and supported while navigating the digital wellness ecosystem. You will help maintain a safe, clean, and inviting environment across all wellness spaces, including studios, changing rooms, and communal areas. This position is ideally suited to someone with experience in a gym, leisure, or wellness environment who enjoys being visible on the floor, engaging with people, and delivering an excellent customer experience. This is not a Personal Trainer role - there is no requirement or insurance in place to provide fitness instruction, exercise programming, or equipment guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact within the fitness and wellness facility
- Support users with digital wellness systems and booking platforms
- Manage memberships, bookings, and records via CRM systems
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation across gym, studios, and changing areas
- Carry out regular walkarounds to ensure facilities are safe and operational
- Promote on-site wellness initiatives and engagement activities
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Must have an interest in fitness and well-being
- Experience of working in a gym, wellness, leisure, hospitality, or customer-facing environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident using digital systems and Microsoft Office
- Understanding of health and safety principles
- First aid qualification desirable (training available)
