Job Description We are seeking a highly capable programme professional who can provide visibility, discipline and insight across a complex portfolio of transformation activity.
Working closely with stakeholders across the technical landscape, you will act as the central point for governance, benefits realisation, resource prioritisation and executive reporting.
Key Responsibilities Develop, implement and maintain programme management methodologies, standards, templates and best practices.
Manage and continuously improve the programme governance framework, including stage-gate reviews, risk management and reporting processes.
Oversee portfolio performance, monitoring programme status, budgets, benefits, dependencies and alignment to strategic objectives.
Track resource forecasting and capacity planning, identifying and mitigating resource constraints across transformation activities.
Produce executive-level dashboards, reports, board papers, investment cases and transformation updates.
Establish and manage benefits realisation frameworks, ensuring financial and operational benefits are tracked and achieved.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including lessons learned activities and the adoption of project management tools and processes.
Build strong stakeholder relationships and coordinate Programme Boards, executive briefings and cross-functional forums to support informed decision-making.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Appropriate qualification or equivalent experience in Project or Programme Management.
Programme or project management experience, ideally within a complex transformation and/or Technical Services environment.
Proven experience implementing and embedding PMO frameworks and governance standards.
Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing budgets, cost tracking and forecasting.
Hands-on experience with project and portfolio management tools such as Microsoft Project Online and Jira.
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, driving collaboration and adoption of standards and processes.
Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and provide actionable insights.
Experience supporting organisational change, stakeholder engagement and transition activities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for executive, technical and business audiences.
Strong judgement and the ability to proactively identify, escalate and mitigate risks and issues.
Experience mentoring team members and supporting the development of project and PMO professionals.
