The Technical Facilities Manager supports and implements the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of site maintenance activities. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Responsibilities
- Manage the BMS building services and Controls Systems of Buildings.
- Manage the technical shift team and contractors to ensure all PPMs and reactive works are completed in line with SLAs and KPIs.
- Provide technical reports and evaluation of assets and systems on the customers' sites.
- Review and evaluate performance and ensure quality standards are being met.
- Support daily update meetings with customers.
- Support the Asset Manager by ensuring the team provides the correct documentation and uploads to the CAFM system.
- Maintain a risk register for areas of responsibilities and support the wider risk management and mitigation.
- Take corrective action to resolve problems.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in providing BMS building services and Controls maintenance to include fault finding, maintenance, installation, inspection and reporting.
- Vocational Education in Electrical / Controls Engineering or equivalent; HNC in electrical / controls or City & Guilds level 1, 2 and 3.
- In-country Chartered / Registered / Licensed Engineer - professional memberships with IET, CIBSE, IENG preferable.
- Strong knowledge of Work Order Control procedures and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
- Minimum IOSH managing safety / NEBOSH.
- Practical experience in Hard Services contract delivery and NEC 4 Contracts.
