The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
We are looking for a motivated individual who can inspire others, build strong relationships, and bring innovative approaches to engaging local communities and key partners. With social value delivery being a core priority of this contract, the successful candidate will act as the driving force behind community initiatives, carbon reduction plans and collaborative engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement social value action plans with clear timelines and outcomes.
- Deliver all social value commitments outlined in the contract.
- Build partnerships with charities, VCSEs, colleges and community groups, including trainee programmes and work with Glasshouse.
- Influence and engage stakeholders, acting as the central coordinator for social value activity.
- Enter monthly social value data into the Social Value Portal in line with the TOM System.
- Lead behavioural-change training on environmental and sustainability responsibilities.
- Drive initiatives to reduce energy use, carbon emissions, waste and single-use plastics, including managing the electric fleet and emissions data.
- Support recycling schemes and coordinate community initiatives, wellbeing events and joint programmes within the contract.
- Stay updated on social value sector developments and implement improvements.

- Proven ability to build meaningful and productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Excellent understanding of national Social Value frameworks and reporting standards.
