This is a mobile role, well suited to an experienced commercial plumber who enjoys autonomy, variety, and working across a diverse estate. You will be responsible for PPMs, fault-finding, remedial works, and minor installations across plumbing and associated mechanical building services. Candidates must be multi-skilled with experience in commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive plumbing works across multiple commercial sites.
  • Diagnose, fault-find, and repair plumbing systems including hot and cold water systems, sanitary ware, pipework, valves, pumps, and boosters.
  • Undertake remedial works and minor installations as required.
  • Support compliance activities including water hygiene tasks (where trained), inspections, and system checks.
  • Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with current regulations and site procedures.
  • Accurately complete electronic job sheets, reports, and compliance documentation.
  • Work independently and liaise effectively with other engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors when required.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing or Mechanical Services (essential).
  • Proven experience as a mobile commercial plumber or building services engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and general mechanical building services.
  • Experience working within multi-site FM or commercial environments.
  • Water Hygiene / Legionella Awareness training (desirable).
  • Ability to carry out basic mechanical or fabric tasks (multi-skilled advantageous).
  • Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 points).
