Job Description We are seeking an experienced engineer with either electrical or mechanical qualifications and a strong background in building services maintenance. You'll join a supportive team environment with opportunities to develop your career, including progression to Lead Engineer. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities across site. Respond to reactive maintenance tasks, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing and minor fabric repairs. Complete routine site inspections, checks and asset monitoring. Supervise and coordinate specialist subcontractors working on site. Support compliance activities and maintain accurate statutory documentation. Undertake fault finding, problem solving and continuous improvement activities. Complete risk assessments and follow health, safety and environmental procedures. Provide updates to stakeholders and support contract performance objectives. Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Electrical or Mechanical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent). Strong maintenance experience within facilities management or building services. Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience within commercial buildings. Experience carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance tasks. Good understanding of health and safety procedures, risk assessments and safe systems of work. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
