With deep expertise in HTM standards and PFI frameworks, you will provide strong governance and shape client-funded asset strategies, including CapEx plans. Working closely with central functions, you will embed innovation and ensure alignment with UK&I technical regulations. This role demands exceptional communication skills to translate complex technical requirements into clear, engaging strategies for diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, direction, and guidance in delivering all technical and project services within the Healthcare sector.
- Act as the senior representative for Healthcare on technical matters, supporting the Commercial team as required.
- Offer specialist advice on strategic and operational estate management across the portfolio.
- Review and optimise asset lifecycle plans, ensuring contractual risk transfer and compliance.
- Monitor and interpret changes in legislation, HTMs, HBNs, HSE guidance, NHS policy, and British Standards.
- Drive environmental, energy management, and sustainability initiatives within technical operations.
- Oversee technical audits and inspection schedules to ensure regulatory and statutory obligations are met.
- Support and oversee capital projects, including new works, refurbishments, and participation in shortlisted frameworks.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Demonstrable, in-depth technical operational experience with HTM contracts.
- Extensive experience leading technical operations and project delivery in large-scale healthcare environments.
- Proven ability to deliver clear asset and data management plans for both ISS and clients.
- Ability to manage and oversee sector Safe Systems of Work (SSoW), ensuring full compliance.
- Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to engage non-technical audiences.
- Collaborative leadership style, fostering team thinking and innovation.
- Capability to champion growth areas within Healthcare, supporting revenue growth and margin challenges.
- Credibility to represent ISS Healthcare Technical and Projects internally and externally.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly to client sites.
