The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
You will be responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance on commercial heating, combustion, and HVAC systems, as well as supporting general building services activities. This is a mobile role requiring flexibility, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to customer service. A company van, mobile phone, and PDA are provided as part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Planned & Reactive Maintenance: Deliver a full range of PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance), proactive, and reactive tasks relating to commercial combustion, heating, and HVAC systems.
- General Building Services: Undertake a variety of building maintenance activities, including HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Installations & Repairs: Complete new installations, repairs, and system upgrades to gas and heating infrastructure in line with industry and safety standards.
- Callout Duties: Participate in the on-call rota, providing out-of-hours emergency response as required.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work is completed in accordance with current gas regulations, H&S legislation, and company policies.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Significant experience in commercial gas, combustion, and heating systems within a building services or FM environment.
- Proven background in fault finding, maintenance, and installation of commercial gas systems.
- Experienced in both reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) within commercial property environments.
- Strong understanding of compliance, safety procedures, and customer service standards.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Qualifications:
- Commercial Gas Certifications: COCN1 or CODNC1, TPCP1A, ICPN1, CORT1, CIGA1.
- Domestic Gas Certifications: CCN1, CENWAT1, CPA1.
- Technical Certifications: City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing, HVAC, or Mechanical Engineering discipline.
- Gas Safe Registered.
- IPAF / PASMA (desirable).
