The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We are looking for someone to oversee the provision of a high-quality patient catering service, delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with ISS food safety policies. The postholder will provide clear direction, guidance and support to maintain standards, respond to service needs and continually improve productivity and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records across company systems, including sickness, quality monitoring, training and performance.
- Liaise with staff through discussions, team meetings, performance reviews and investigations.
- Supervise, train, motivate and, where necessary, discipline staff in line with policies and the Training Plan.
- Organise and allocate staff to meet cleaning schedules and hygiene standards within designated areas.
- Order, control and issue uniform, equipment, keys, materials and other required goods.
- Manage safe storage, maintenance and availability of stock and supplies.
- Oversee the safe removal and recording of waste in line with company and Trust procedures.
- Ensure effective delivery of the domestic service within the designated area.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Experience of supervising, supporting or directing staff in a service-delivery environment.
- Ability to organise and allocate work effectively across designated areas.
- Experience maintaining records such as sickness, training, quality monitoring or performance documentation.
- Knowledge of cleaning, hygiene or domestic service standards within a healthcare or similar environment.
- Ability to manage stock, equipment, materials and uniform in line with procedures.
- Understanding of health, safety, security and infection control requirements relevant to a hospital setting.
- Ability to train, motivate and support team members to meet service expectations.
