We are looking for someone who can inspire culinary teams, drive high food standards and support craft training across the business. This role is integral to delivering our ISS Food Services strategy and ensuring consistency, creativity and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand, develop and implement current food trends and ideas into the business
  • Identify areas of craft development and deliver any required training
  • Develop a culture of sharing best practice and elevating food standards
  • Ensure nominated suppliers are used for all relevant supplies
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures relating to food safety, operations management and recruitment
  • Evaluate proposed or required service changes, assessing financial, personnel and operational implications
  • Support the mobilisation of new contracts with relevant food concepts and standards
  • Inspire and mentor chefs to support skills development and succession planning

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Senior chef experience
  • Ability to drive results with strong coaching and mentoring capability
  • 7061/7062 or equivalent qualifications in food preparation and production
  • Minimum of Level 3 Food Hygiene (or equivalent)
  • Passion for food and service
  • Strong communication skills
  • Commercial understanding with a proven track record
  • Experience in tendering for new business
  • Ability to drive mobilisation and implement new concepts, menus, and initiatives
