We are looking for an individual who will act as the initial point of contact for Capgemini on site, providing a welcoming, efficient and well-organised service to visitors, colleagues and stakeholders. Working closely with the Event and Hospitality Manager and wider concierge team, you will help ensure events and hospitality services are delivered effectively and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the initial point of contact for Capgemini on site
  • Monitor the concierge inbox and manage incoming requests
  • Receive incoming visitors and notify the relevant recipient
  • Maintain visitor logs and issue temporary building passes
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of events, including meetings, conferences and social gatherings
  • Help prepare event schedules, timelines and task lists
  • Support event area and room furniture set-up and breakdown, coordinating with concierge team members
  • Support the smooth operation of hospitality services during events

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Ability to undertake manual handling activities, including event set-up and breakdown
  • Evidence of strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Strong people skills with a professional, friendly and customer-focused approach
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to handle unexpected situations calmly and efficiently
