We are looking for an experienced professional who can manage proactive, reactive and planned works within agreed timeframes, support planned shutdowns, and represent the company in a professional manner to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide mechanical, electrical and building services maintenance across client site(s).
- Carry out fault finding, repairs, maintenance and installation works.
- Complete electrical and mechanical PPM, proactive and reactive tasks issued via the helpdesk within set timeframes.
- Maintain containment buildings and associated Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) systems.
- Undertake ETP system maintenance during planned shutdowns, ensuring tasks are completed in line with the current contract and required reports are produced.
- Provide call-out response as directed by the supervisor and support out-of-hours cover via the ISS shift team.
- Control and mentor contractors, ensuring workmanship meets required standards and issuing Permits to Work.
- Ensure all mechanical, electrical and control equipment operates within scope, meets performance criteria, and complies with company standards.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Proven experience in electrical building services maintenance, including fault finding, maintenance, installation and inspection/testing.
- Previous experience delivering reactive and PPM building services maintenance.
- Experience working within FM or building services environments in commercial properties.
- Strong understanding of strict Health & Safety procedures, including risk assessments and method statements.
- Qualifications: City & Guilds 2230 Level 3 or NVQ 2356 / 2357, or City & Guilds 2330 Level 3 in Electrical Installation, or AM1 and AM2, and City & Guilds 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2018), preferably with A2 amendment.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
