The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management and hold HVAP status (or have previously held it). You should be fully electrically qualified (18th Edition) and experienced in delivering PPM and reactive works, ideally within a corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out PPM in accordance with set schedules, maintaining engineering standards to maximise operational effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) and onsite Quality Assurance procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for electrical and mechanical aspects of PPM and plant.
- Respond promptly and effectively to all electrically and mechanically related reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests.
- Conduct technical surveys of services and systems, reporting findings to the Supervisor.
- Co-ordinate initial actions for client requests and manage customer enquiries and complaints.
- Perform electrical and mechanical fault diagnosis and minor installation work.
- Repair and maintain lighting and distribution systems, ensuring adherence to company and client procedures.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Background in Facilities Management with experience in HV or HVAP status.
- Fully electrically qualified – 18th Edition and installation experience.
- Proven experience completing PPMs and reactive works, ideally in a corporate environment.
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
- Ability to provide cover at other sites within a reasonable distance when required.
