This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced, client focused environment and is confident leading teams, managing performance, and maintaining exceptional service standards. As Cleaning Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a world class cleaning and facilities experience across both sites. You will lead a team of around 10 -15 cleaners and supervisors, alongside janitorial staff, working across morning, evening and occasional night shifts. This is a hands on leadership role requiring strong organisation, excellent communication, and the ability to build positive relationships with both staff and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate and inspire cleaners, supervisors and janitors.
  • Handle day to day client interactions, ensuring a proactive and solutions focused approach.
  • Conduct regular audits, inspections and performance checks, ensuring actions are completed on time.
  • Monitor service KPIs, standards and contractual deliverables.
  • Respond to incidents, escalations and service challenges professionally.
  • Ensure correct use of cleaning products, chemicals and equipment, including all required training.
  • Manage team training, onboarding and ongoing development.
  • Support engagement, communication and team culture through meetings, huddles and coaching.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing cleaning teams across multiple sites.
  • Strong understanding of cleaning processes, equipment and compliance standards.
  • Confident people manager with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Excellent communication skills and client facing experience.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage performance and KPIs.
  • Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (business mileage fully expensed).
