We are looking for a self-sufficient engineer who can complete air conditioning works independently, support first-line electrical and switchgear reactive maintenance, and consistently exceed customer expectations while meeting agreed service level agreements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments, F-Gas, LV Safe Systems of Work and COSHH
  • Undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works issued via the helpdesk within relevant SLAs
  • Carry out the majority of duties on air conditioning systems, with first-line reactive electrical and switchgear maintenance
  • Participate in a minimum 1 in 4 out-of-hours call-out rota as required by the client
  • Complete occasional planned night works in line with the PPM schedule
  • Undertake contractor control duties, including monitoring workmanship and issuing Permits to Work
  • Ensure equipment operates to specified performance criteria at all times
  • Maintain equipment and surrounding areas in line with agreed company standards

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • City & Guilds 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants or CITB J11 equivalent
  • NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in Commercial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proven experience completing air conditioning work alone across different commercial environments
  • Electrical works experience is desirable
  • Willingness to travel as part of the role
