We are looking for a commercially astute leader who can oversee a £250m contract covering Capital Projects, Hard FM, and Soft FM services, driving continuous improvement, managing risk effectively, and building strong client relationships to ensure successful and aligned contract delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive strong commercial contract performance to deliver against agreed budgets
  • Manage and optimise the legal and commercial aspects of the ISS contract
  • Identify and mitigate commercial and contractual risks
  • Lead the onboarding of new business opportunities in a commercially sound manner
  • Oversee contract variations, amendments, and SLA improvements
  • Maintain and manage risk registers, ensuring effective identification and mitigation
  • Act as the primary commercial interface with the client, managing relationships and resolving issues
  • Lead and develop a large commercial team responsible for overall contract performance

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Proven commercial leadership experience managing complex contracts valued at £50m+
  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • Strong expertise in NEC contracts, including governance, risk allocation, pricing models, and strategy
  • Experience managing claims, disputes, negotiations, and performance-related contractual matters
  • Demonstrated ability to align commercial strategy with operational delivery
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills at senior level
  • Commercially driven, results-focused, and highly motivated
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Full UK driving licence required with willingness to travel 2-3 times per week (car/car allowance provided)
