As a Kitchen Porter, you'll keep that rhythm steady, supporting chefs and front of house in delivering a wide selection of hot dishes and fresh salads that change weekly. More than just back of house, you'll be part of the team that ensures guests receive seamless service - your efforts helping create a smooth, welcoming experience. The Role
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all hospitality kitchens (wash-up, floors, equipment, BOH areas).
- Receive goods, check quality and dates, and report discrepancies.
- Store items correctly and follow FIFO rotation.
- Maintain clean, organised dry stores and fridges.
- Ensure chefs always have clean equipment, trays, boards and utensils ready for service.
- Support waste and recycling procedures across all kitchens.
- Assist with basic prep when required (training provided).
- Follow all ISS food safety, health & safety and manual-handling standards.
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter (hospitality or contract catering).
- Strong work ethic, reliability and pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Comfortable receiving deliveries and working systematically.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive attitude - willing to help wherever needed.
