The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.
This is a full-time role with fixed hours (Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm) and a clear overtime structure. You’ll enjoy a steady workload with scheduled Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance for commercial plumbing systems.
- Perform general building services maintenance across a range of facilities.
- Repair cracked pipes, clear clogged drainage, and maintain complex plumbing systems (e.g., washers, steam cleaning devices, air compressors, hydraulic lifts, water/drainage systems, sprinkler systems).
- Conduct leak detection tests, solder/braze tubing and piping, and install/repair components in water heaters, tanks, sinks, showers, and storage facilities.
- Install, modify, and repair plumbing systems including valves, traps, unions, and backflow prevention devices in compliance with local codes.
- Diagnose faults and carry out routine maintenance and installation work.
- Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards within Facilities Management (FM) and commercial property environments.
- Travel between sites as required, using company-provided van, phone, and PDA.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Experience in mechanical building services maintenance, including fault finding, routine maintenance, and installation work.
- Strong background in Reactive and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) for building services.
- Proven track record within Facilities Management or commercial property environments.
- Level 2/3 Plumbing Qualification.
- Full UK driving licence (travel required).
