Here at ISS, one of the UK's premier Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to strengthen the engineering resourcing dedicated to our client's campus facility in Northampton. The client is in corporate banking, and this site is classed as critical to their UK operation containing an array of LV and HV electrical infrastructure. The engineering maintenance work is delivered by a 24/7 shift team, and this supervisor will look after this team, which has 3 on shift at any given time. In this role you will coordinate and supervise planned and reactive maintenance while supporting on small project/install works. This is a fantastic role for a developing engineer to move further into management. An AP appointment would be very useful with a leaning to LV and/or HV AP.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the Engineering Shift Team’s completion of planned maintenance and reactive repairs of mechanical and electrical building services and associated equipment, helping to ensure maximum uptime and ensuring our client’s operations are always supported.
  • Deputise for Senior Critical Engineering Lead in his absence.
  • Produce monthly reports as required to support site operations.
  • Allocate jobs to competent authorised personnel via TRIRIGA system.
  • Report all activity and incidents to the Senior Critical Engineering Lead.
  • Ensure onsite quality assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and maintain accurate records/documentation associated with the electrical aspects of the PPM and plant.
  • Coordinate visiting specialist sub‑contractors.
  • Liaise with and maintain good working relations with all building users, attend meetings as and when required, and respond in a positive manner to any instructions.
