We are looking for an engineer who plays a pivotal role in risk mitigation, permit control, and critical systems surveillance, supporting ISS’ reputation for dependable service delivery. The role requires strong technical capability, attention to detail, and the ability to act decisively during fault and incident scenarios while maintaining full compliance with ISS safety systems and client standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver electrical and mechanical planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) in line with SLAs
  • Respond to reactive maintenance faults across critical systems
  • Monitor critical infrastructure, plant, and HVAC systems
  • Issue, control, and manage Permits to Work
  • Escort and oversee specialist subcontractors on site
  • Complete CAFM updates, reports, and compliance documentation
  • Support shift handovers with full disclosure of critical service information
  • Escalate incidents and act decisively during fault scenarios

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Recognised electrical qualifications, including City & Guilds
  • Electrical installation background with general maintenance experience
  • Knowledge and experience in electrical testing and inspection
  • Proven experience working within building maintenance environments
  • Experience supporting electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems in a critical facility
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and permit control processes
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a specialist engineering team
