Job Description We are looking for a professional and customer-focused individual who will work as part of the Front of House/service team. This role combines mailroom operations, customer service, goods handling, room set-ups and furniture movement, with potential responsibility for running the mailroom service for a temporary period using a site van. Key Responsibilities Receive and process all incoming post, parcels and courier deliveries. Carry out required security checks and X-ray screening of incoming items. Sort and distribute incoming post accurately to relevant departments. Scan specified correspondence into digital document management systems. Complete scheduled internal mail runs, including the handling of sensitive documentation. Collect outgoing post and parcels and prepare items for dispatch using franking machines and Royal Mail services. Arrange and process UK and international courier shipments using systems such as DHL and FedEx. Support loading bay operations, including receiving larger, heavier and palletised deliveries. Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Strong customer service experience, ideally within a corporate, facilities, workplace or other professional environment. Excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills. Comfortable carrying out a role involving physical mail handling, deliveries and movement of goods. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. High level of integrity and discretion when dealing with confidential or classified material. Proactive, practical and problem-solving approach. Must hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to obtain a Forklift licence (funded).
