Job Description We are looking for a proactive finance professional who will support the Senior Financial Accountant in implementing process improvements, driving efficiencies in cost management, and delivering value-added financial services to Account Leadership and customers.

The successful candidate will play a key role in financial control, month-end activities, reconciliations, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities Operate within a robust internal financial controls framework, completing Controls Self-Assessments and implementing Financial Controls recommendations.

Complete balance sheet reconciliations in line with UK&I requirements and ensure reviewer recommendations are actioned.

Support external audits, Group and UK&I internal audits, and Financial Controls & Assurance reviews.

Perform month-end close activities, including accruals, prepayments, revenue-related transactions, and reporting for allocated accounts.

Review overdue accounts receivable, trade working capital reports, and support corrective actions where required.

Prepare and analyse balance sheet and income statement control activities, including prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, provisions, profitability analysis, payroll review, and overhead management.

Review open purchase orders on a weekly basis and minimise aged purchase orders.

Support business reviews, customer reporting activities, forecasting variance analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Qualified, part-qualified, or studying towards an accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent), or qualified through experience.

Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex information.

Sound judgement and decision-making capability.

Excellent organisation, planning, and time management skills.

Meticulous attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively under pressure and challenge the status quo.

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Knowledge of Navision and/or One Stream would be advantageous.
