We are looking for an experienced practitioner from a technical services background who can plan, assign and direct work while addressing operational issues and incidents as they arise. The Engineering Supervisor will work closely with Operational Managers to ensure efficient use of resources, compliance with procedures and the consistent delivery of high-quality maintenance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise operations and maintenance activities within a critical environment
  • Review and evaluate team performance, ensuring quality standards are met
  • Take corrective action to resolve operational and maintenance issues
  • Plan, assign and direct reactive work orders and preventative maintenance tasks
  • Ensure PMs and work orders are completed as scheduled each month
  • Maintain and control Operations & Maintenance documentation, ensuring it is up to date and accessible
  • Review, edit and maintain SOPS, MOPS and EOPS relevant to site operations
  • Manage on-site storage, inventory, spare parts, tools and service equipment in an orderly manner

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Practitioner-level experience in Technical Services within a building services environment
  • Preferably experienced in integrated facilities management within critical environments
  • Vocational education in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
  • Aptitude to become appointed Authorised Person (AP) in one or multiple disciplines
  • Strong knowledge of Work Order Control procedures and CMMS systems
  • Experience managing subcontractors, vendors and service contracts
  • Experience managing KPIs, capacity planning and operational reporting
  • Journeyman-level experience with electrical and mechanical equipment systems
  • Competent using hand tools, test equipment and maintenance shop practices
  • Proficient in MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and Power BI
