We are looking for someone who is committed to environmental performance, confident in developing energy solutions, and experienced in implementing effective conservation measures. Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the effective management of energy resources in line with organisational and client objectives.
  • Identify, develop, and support the implementation of new energy-related opportunities.
  • Deliver all energy management tasks to maintain compliance, service quality, and technical standards.
  • Motivate, train, and influence colleagues and customer teams in best-practice energy management.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of relevant legal, statutory, and technical energy requirements.
  • Promote energy efficiency and provide specialist advice on sustainable and efficient practices.
  • Develop Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs), including ROI assessments.
  • Undertake energy surveys across office and retail environments and produce feasibility studies for costed reduction initiatives, including embedded generation and CHP.
  • Manage and deliver energy-saving projects from initial concept through to implementation.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience in energy management.
  • Energy and/or Carbon Management experience.
  • Experience working across a client estate with a focus on energy optimisation.
  • Knowledge of key techniques and technologies that support efficient energy use.
  • Competency in current energy and utility benchmarking techniques and statistical analysis.
  • Working knowledge of energy Monitoring & Targeting (M&T) software.
  • Understanding of BMS and control theory to drive energy savings.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Full UK driving licence, with regular travel required.
