We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Concierge / Receptionist (Hospitality Concierge) to support the Event Manager and Event Co-ordinator in the planning, organisation and delivery of events and hospitality services. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of reception, concierge and event support activities on site. The Concierge will act as the initial point of contact for Capgemini on site, providing a welcoming, efficient and well-organised service to visitors, colleagues and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the initial point of contact for Capgemini on site.
- Monitor the concierge inbox and manage incoming requests.
- Receive incoming visitors and notify the relevant recipient.
- Maintain visitor logs and issue temporary building passes.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of events, including meetings, conferences and social gatherings.
- Help prepare event schedules, timelines and task lists.
- Support event area and room furniture set-up and breakdown, coordinating with concierge team members.
- Support the smooth operation of hospitality services during events.
Qualifications
- Ability to undertake manual handling activities, including event set-up and breakdown.
- Evidence of strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent PC skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Strong people skills with a professional, friendly and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to handle unexpected situations calmly and efficiently.
