As a Cleaning Supervisor with ISS UK, you will play a key role in delivering a world-class housekeeping service, ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency for our customers and colleagues. Birmingham City University has numerous sites across Birmingham. This role may involve working at any of these locations, so flexibility in working within the Birmingham area is essential.
The Role
- Plan, organise, and coordinate cleaning operations to meet financial and performance targets
- Lead by example with a passion for customer service and strong, inspiring leadership
- Set and maintain high standards for yourself and your team
- Create and manage cleaning schedules for your team
- Deliver an exceptional level of cleaning service within your area of responsibility
- Carry out general cleaning duties, including offices, meeting rooms, toilets, showers, vacuuming, and mopping
- Use all cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
- Maintain a safe working environment in line with Health & Safety regulations and company standards
- Report any hazards, near misses, or safety concerns promptly to your manager
