As Team Leader, you will set clear direction for your team and ensure efficient scheduling of cleaning operatives using manual planning techniques alongside our CAFM system. Your focus will be on meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs), monitoring performance, managing supplies, and responding to emergency callouts, all while fostering a high-performing culture and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve contractual and business KPIs and targets.
- Provide excellent stakeholder management for both internal and external customers.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and processes.
- Drive and motivate the team to exceed customer expectations.
- Foster a high-performing culture through continuous improvement, team development, and performance management.
- Deliver induction and technical training for all team members.
- Monitor and review staff performance through audits, observation, coaching, and training.
- Take ownership of Health & Safety for self and others at work.
- Escalate service failures or customer complaints where necessary.
- Create and report metrics to measure team performance, including effectiveness and utilisation.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Previous experience in scheduling or coordination roles, ideally within cleaning or facilities management.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Familiarity with CAFM systems and manual scheduling techniques (advantageous).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to changing demands and emergencies.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong relationship management and presentation skills.
- Commitment to safety, wellbeing, and continuous improvement.
