Working closely with ISS Account Management, this role serves as IT’s primary interface into the wider organisation. You will engage with senior public sector customers and large systems integrator partners, providing IT leadership, assurance and insight while ensuring that immediate operational pressures do not undermine long‑term service integrity, compliance, and sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Act as IT’s senior point of coordination for the account across internal delivery teams, operational units, and Account Management.
  • Translate customer and account objectives into a clear and prioritised IT demand roadmap.
  • Establish and lead governance forums that support high‑quality, evidence‑based decision‑making.
  • Lead the analysis of options, risks, dependencies, and impacts to support senior stakeholder decision‑making.
  • Engage with senior customer and systems integrator stakeholders to provide IT assurance, insight, and strategic guidance.
  • Line‑manage Business Analysts and Testers supporting the account.
  • Ensure work entering delivery is clearly defined, appropriately prioritised, and test‑ready.
  • Identify, raise, and support the mitigation of cross‑functional risks and delivery challenges.

Qualifications

  • Public‑sector customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong stakeholder relationship‑management skills, with experience operating at senior levels.
  • Proven ability to lead and embed innovation within complex environments.
  • Confident and credible senior leader.
  • Strong account‑management and partnering capability, with the ability to influence, persuade, and drive outcomes through delivery.
  • Experience in customer success roles would be highly transferable.
