Responsibilities
- Operate as part of a specialist rectification team, pinpointing root causes across asset data governance, PPM and reactive work orders, technical risk management, and alignment of working practices to contract requirements, and designing and implementing effective, practical solutions.
- Analyse operational symptoms including incorrect or incomplete work orders, poor CAFM data quality, and workflow inefficiencies.
- Investigate issues across the full FM lifecycle, from survey data capture through system input to engineering execution.
- Perform structured root cause analysis across CAFM system configuration, data standards, governance, and engineer workflows.
- Identify breakdowns in data accuracy, process consistency, and system integration impacting operational performance.
- Design practical and scalable solutions covering process improvements, workflow redesign, and standardisation.
- Define and support CAFM system optimisation, including data structures and workflow management.
- Develop and support training interventions to improve engineer and user capability and compliance.
- Lead or support the implementation of improvements, embedding best-practice ways of working into operational teams.
Qualifications
- Previous, detailed leadership experience in technical and operational facilities management environments.
- Senior management experience within large, complex operations.
- Strong knowledge of FM technical contracts and commercial models.
- Professionally qualified engineer (e.g. CEng or IEng) or equivalent experience.
- Strong expertise in CAFM systems, data management, and workflow optimisation.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end work order and FM data lifecycles.
- Excellent diagnostic, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Proven experience in process design, implementation, and change management.
