We are looking for a mobile professional who will support the Project Manager across a nationwide programme covering HVAC, fabric, fit-outs and alterations. The role involves frequent site visits and audits, contributing subject matter expertise, supporting governance and compliance, and helping to drive high-quality, timely project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager in planning, executing and overseeing complex, multi-disciplinary projects
  • Translate high-level programmes into clear, actionable project plans aligned to client and corporate objectives
  • Coordinate multiple interlinked projects, managing interdependencies, resources and supply chain partners
  • Support budget management, forecasting, reporting and pipeline programme reviews for leadership
  • Act as a key liaison between internal teams, clients and external partners, supporting stakeholder management
  • Identify, assess and help mitigate risks, acting as a first escalation point for assigned project issues
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and organisational standards, including health and safety requirements
  • Support audits, quality assurance reviews and continuous improvement of project delivery methodologies

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • SSSTS or SMSTS certified
  • Proven experience coordinating projects exceeding £1m in value
  • Conversant with NEC4 contracts
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, with the ability to interpret drawings and specifications
  • Sound knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate teams and stakeholders effectively
  • Proficiency in project management software and related tools
  • Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel as required
