ISS STOXX is looking for a Sales Specialist to support our sales efforts across the UK region for our market leading suite of Sustainability & Climate Solutions. To succeed in this role, you will need to have a genuine interest in the area of Sustainable and Responsible investments, along with a financial background and demonstrated sales experience. The role requires a high level of technical acumen, attention to detail, the ability to understand front office needs and strong collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve revenue goals by identifying and closing upsells for existing clients and sales to prospective clients.
  • Grow ISS STOXX market share, recognition and perception within the investment management and asset owner community.
  • Continuously assess Sustainability data market opportunities, define and update a sales plan for territory and discuss with management.
  • Build and maintain relationships amongst prospects.
  • Record all client and prospect contacts and all meeting and telephone activity information into firm's CRM system.
  • Share relevant industry and opportunity information across the sales group and with other departments.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience closing new business above target and relationship management within the financial services industry.
  • Bachelor or master’s degree with a background in Finance, Economics, or other related discipline is preferred.
  • Track record of relationship management, business development and revenue generation either selling directly or through strategic partners.
  • Demonstrated relationship and project management skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills, with expert judgment to help set priorities.
  • Excellent organizational and verbal skills.
  • Absolute personal and business integrity.
