We are looking for experienced Fitters to join our team on a substation project at Red Moss. The successful candidates will be involved in a range of earthing installation works supporting critical power infrastructure upgrades.
Location: Red Moss, Aberdeenshire, Scotland
Role: Fitter
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 10 Hours Per Day
Rate: PAYE
Key Responsibilities:
- Below-ground earthing installation works.
- Running out, cutting and installing copper earthing tape.
- Installing cleats and securing earthing systems.
- Brazing copper tape connections.
- Testing completed earthing installations.
- Earthing works in GIS halls and cable trenches.
- Installation of earth spurs to associated metal structures.
- Earthing works within Battery, LVAC, Relay, Telecom, Permit and Welfare rooms.
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and in accordance with project specifications.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven fitting experience within substations or industrial environments.
- Previous earthing installation experience.
- Valid Shea Power Card.
- Manual Handling Certificate.
- Ability to interpret drawings and work to specifications.
- Strong health and safety awareness.
