We are currently seeking an experienced Lineside Civils Engineer to support rail infrastructure works, including level crossings and associated lineside civils assets. This role will involve overseeing the installation and assurance of a wide range of lineside foundations and ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design and quality requirements.
The successful candidate will have strong experience working within rail environments and will be confident managing setting out, installation tolerances, and assurance documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Engineering and oversight of lineside civil works, including level crossings and associated infrastructure.
- Installation and management of lineside ancillary foundations, including:
- REBs (Relocatable Equipment Buildings)
- PSPs (Principal Supply Points)
- Route Location Case (RTL) bases
- DNO bases
- Piled Foundations and Retentions
- Barrier bases
- Other associated lineside foundation structures.
- Proven experience delivering lineside civils engineering works within the rail sector.
- Strong knowledge of lineside foundations and rail ancillary structures.
- Experience with setting out and installation tolerances against design requirements.
- Experience managing quality assurance documentation and digital systems such as BIM 360.
- Ability to use CAD software.
- Experience producing redline and as-built documentation.
- Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) certification.
- Evidence of Temporary Works coordination experience within the last 5 years.
