We’re looking for an experienced HV Fitter to join a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project. This role is ideal for someone with strong, hands‑on earthing expertise and a background in HV, substation, or BESS environments.
Location: Eccles, Coldstream, TD12 4LX
Role: HV Fitter
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: TBC
Hours/Days: 10H
Rate: CIS
Key Responsibilities & Expertise Needed
- Must have experience with below‑ground earthing installation: tape, rods, grids, mats
- Confidently reading and interpreting earthing drawings
- Exothermic welding, with strong skills in brazing
- Connections to AIS steelwork
- Ability to fabricate/manufacture components to design specification
- Installation of above‑ground earth bars & structural bonding
- Previous HV / Substation / BESS experience is essential
Certifications:
- CSCS / ECS required
- IPAF or Telehandler ticket is a bonus
