We’re looking for an experienced HV Fitter to join a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project. This role is ideal for someone with strong, hands‑on earthing expertise and a background in HV, substation, or BESS environments.

Location: Eccles, Coldstream, TD12 4LX

Role: HV Fitter

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: TBC

Hours/Days: 10H

Rate: CIS

Key Responsibilities & Expertise Needed

  • Must have experience with below‑ground earthing installation: tape, rods, grids, mats
  • Confidently reading and interpreting earthing drawings
  • Exothermic welding, with strong skills in brazing
  • Connections to AIS steelwork
  • Ability to fabricate/manufacture components to design specification
  • Installation of above‑ground earth bars & structural bonding
  • Previous HV / Substation / BESS experience is essential

Certifications:

  • CSCS / ECS required
  • IPAF or Telehandler ticket is a bonus
