We’re looking for a Certified Electrician to support delivery of works at a Solar Farm. If you want hands‑on responsibility, steady project hours, and the chance to work on a major renewable energy site, this role is for you.
Location: Dorchester
Start Date: 2nd March 2026
Duration: Approx. 12 weeks
Hours: 10H Day / 120H Every 2 weeks / One weekend on, one weekend off
Rate: Competitive (CIS)
What You’ll Do
- Carry out electrical installation, testing & maintenance across the solar farm
- Support day‑to‑day operations on inverters, cabling, and AC/DC systems
- Diagnose faults and ensure safe, continuous generation
- Perform preventative checks and complete site documentation
- Work independently on a self‑employed basis (SDS: outside determination)
- Liaise with the site contact for smooth delivery & timesheet approval
What You Need
- Certified Electrician qualification (NVQ / 18th Edition or equivalent)
- JIB Graded Electrician (2391 - Approved Electrician - Essential)
- Experience on solar, renewables, industrial or commercial electrical systems
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
