About the Role
As an Approved Electrician/Wireman, you will be involved in the installation, testing, of HV systems on a substation project. You'll work to strict safety and quality standards, supporting the successful and compliant delivery of key project milestones.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing and maintaining HV distribution systems, SCADA, signalling and control equipment
- Installing containment: tray, trunking, conduit, ladder rack
- Small wiring and multi‐core cabling
- Fault‐finding, diagnostics, and electrical testing
- Completing installation paperwork, test sheets, and daily logs
- Interpreting drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications
- Safe operation and upkeep of HV tools and testing equipment
