We are currently seeking 3–4 pairs of experienced 33kV Cable Jointers to support a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project located in Eccles, near Coldstream in the Scottish Borders. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced renewable energy project, contributing to critical infrastructure within the growing energy storage sector.

The ideal candidates will have proven experience working with 33kV systems and a strong track record in installing Nexans MONO terminations. Jointers will be expected to work efficiently and safely as part of a team to deliver high-quality installations within project deadlines.

Job Details

  • Pay: CIS (competitive rates dependent on experience)
  • Hours: Full-time working hours, with potential for overtime

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation, jointing, and termination of 33kV cables on a live project site
  • Carrying out Nexans MONO terminations to a high standard
  • Ensuring all work complies with health & safety regulations and site procedures
  • Working collaboratively with site teams to meet programme deadlines
  • Maintaining quality workmanship and accurate documentation where required

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in 33kV cable jointing and terminations
  • Previous experience with Nexans MONO terminations (essential)
  • Valid and relevant certifications/competencies for high-voltage works
  • Ability to work effectively as part of an established jointer/mate pair (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of site safety protocols and industry standards
