The Strategic Partnerships Team supports three key business lines:
- STOXX, an established and global provider of benchmarks and custom indices. Best known for the leading European equity indices EURO STOXX 50, STOXX Europe 600, and DAX, the entire suite of index solutions consists of total market, benchmark, custom, blue-chip, sustainability, thematic, and factor-based indices covering world, regional, and country markets.
- ISS Sustainability Solutions, providing innovative and high-quality ESG research, ratings, index, screening, data, analytics and advisory services along with fund services and financial quality valuation.
- ISS Governance, providing objective governance research and recommendations, end-to-end proxy voting and distribution solutions, global proxy distribution services, turnkey securities class-action claims management and reliable global governance data and modelling tools.
The Strategic Partnerships team develops and maintains data distribution relationships with over 80 third parties who in turn provide services to ISS STOXX clients. We deliver many Index, Sustainability & Governance data products through this distribution channel.
We are looking to hire a Partnerships & Consultant Relations Manager to maintain ongoing relationships with our Partners and develop new relationships with consultants supporting institutional investors. The position reports to the Head of Strategic Partnerships & Consultant Relations.
Key Objectives:
- Document, manage, and expand product availability through current Partners.
- Oversee Partner product onboarding with internal sales, product, legal, and operational stakeholders.
- Develop communications for Partners & coordinate responses to complex queries.
- Develop new Consultant relationships to gather market feedback, obtain top ratings, create new client opportunities, and increase opportunity conversion rates.
Experience Requirements:
- 5-7+ years developing institutional relationships with emphasis on consultant research contacts.
- Experience with solution-based sales or tailored solution presentations.
- Good understanding of the financial services ecosystem and institutional investor requirements.
- Good understanding of global Index, Sustainability, and Governance trends.
Skill Requirements:
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change.
- Ability to collaborate well across global and diverse teams.
- Strong project management skills and able to work well in a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to follow-through independently.
