Job Description

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and self‑motivated individual to assist our client in every aspect of day‑to‑day living. Our client is an active 38‑year‑old female who suffers from Spinal Muscular Atrophy (Type 2). She lives alone in her own home, where the right candidate must assist fully with all aspects of personal care, moving and handling and completing any household tasks. Our client lives a very active lifestyle, so a confident driver is essential to drive the client's adapted car. You must hold a valid Full UK Manual Driving Licence. Our client plays Powerchair Football at least once a week, works Part‑Time, goes on holidays and takes part in many social activities. Therefore, to support her lifestyle, the willingness to be flexible in working hours is a necessity for this role.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Personal Care
  • Experience in Medication Administration
  • You will need a full valid UK manual driving licence due to driving the client's car to access the community and visiting friends and family.
  • You must be confident in motorway driving.
